6 Courts
Limpsfield is proud of the squash and racketball facilities on offer. All six courts are air conditioned with viewing galleries or full seating in the case of our show court. Reinvestment in facilities is constant with recent additions including glass balustrades, cameras & raised viewing areas.
Coaching
Club Teams
Players looking to test themselves against other clubs on a regular basis can be nominated for the many inter-club teams. Limpsfield currently runs a total of eight summer and winter squash teams: five in the Surrey County Leagues, two in the Kent County Leagues & one in the Womens' Surrey County Leagues. Limpsfield also has a team playing in the Surrey County Racketball League.
Limpsfield is recognised as having outstanding facilities and commitment to progressing the sports. As such, the facilities are frequently used to host junior intercounty, England Aspire, junior tour & adult graded events.
Social Play
Limpsfield's framework offers a pathway for all players, regardless of ability, to play and improve their competitive squash and racketball. All matches are captured by Squash Levels allowing an ongoing monitor of individual relative performance.
Internal squash and racketball box leagues cover beginners, team players and coaches. Boxes run for 6-8 weeks per "season" with promotion and relegation managed by the coaching team.
Across winter and summer an internal Team League is run. This allows box players to join a team of three or four and compete against similarly ranked players & teams with select handicapping used. This is a great introduction to competitive team play and many of our top team players started this way.
Two annual internal knockout competitions are held per sport: the Club Championship and the Club Handicap Championship. The Limpsfield honours board shows the names of recent winners, amongst which you'll see many outstanding players including some who have gone on to represent their country and become professional. Our finals nights are well attended and offer the club a chance to recognise the year's best performers.
Teams
Teams for men, women and juniors are entered into into the Surrey squash summer and winter competitions.
A mixed team also plays in the county racketball league.
Internally there are hotly-contested squash and racketball leagues for all abilities. Up-to-date information is displayed on the squash and racketball noticeboard and the website.
Throughout the year, the club holds a number of squash and racketball tournaments. Some are handicapped, some are for veterans, and some are for juniors.
Social
Club nights are held every Friday and Sunday and sessions cost only £2 (£1 for juniors). And everyone is welcome. These sessions are the perfect opportunity to meet and to play other members of all standards.
Additionally, every third Friday from October to May, Friday's club night is replaced by Team League squash, a friendly internal league of twelve teams, each with three players.
